A care that R.F.I. S.p.A. has just begun how shows the constant modernization or reconstruction of railway lines speeding up travelling times, allowing the transit of trains with higher weight and gauge. With this point of view, the adaption of Bologna – Rimini line and the demolition and rebuilding of 10 railway bridges has been decided.
This work will be included in a wide modernization of the whole railway Adriatic line, reducing up to 45 minutes travelling time on Bologna – Bari segment and up to 60 minutes on Bologna – Lecce line, as declared Mr. Fedeli.
